i'm mostly active on tumblr, where i reblog a lot of stuff and occasionally make original posts.
clicking the art on this carrd will bring you to the person who made it (unless that person is me, in which case there's no link)! there are other clickable images here too, and every clickable image will bring you to the blog of a very good friend whom i love!

adding a too-long explanation of my opinions here to further clarify what i mean. my thoughts are complex™ and nuanced™ now. (tl;dr at end if you just want a subset of my "dni," lol)i don't really think of myself as an "anti" anymore, but i certainly don't think of myself as "proship" either. i like when media explores things that are gross and weird and upsetting, but i also have personal boundaries, and people who self identify as "proship" tend to cross lines that i'm not comfortable interacting with, hence my general rejection of the label and its users.for one thing, i don't think fictional cp is okay. no, i don't think it's on the same level as real csam, but i still find it wrong and i would prefer we not interact if you feel differently.i would also prefer not to interact if you think incest is hot, or whatever. it's not that i think incest is an untouchable topic in fiction and discussions--some of my recent favorite pieces of media tackle incestuous abuse in really interesting ways--but i don't feel comfortable interacting with anyone fetishizing incest. i'm not here to discuss the morality of thinking fictional incest is hot, but my boundaries are that i'd rather not interact if you do.i think saying that "fiction doesn't impacts reality" is a stupidly black-and-white argument. there are many nuances to how fiction can interact with reality, both in how it can reflect and influence ideals. i don't think it's as simple as, like, one fanfic having equal influence to a blockbuster film, but it's annoying (and willfully ignorant) to act like the things you put out into the world are incapable of having an effect on other people. again, not saying we can't explore dark shit, and not saying that censorship isn't an issue right now. i just also think that having consideration and tact with the things you put out in the world is an important skill.ultimately, i think exploring dark and weird shit in fiction can be awesome, and even necessary! i like a lot of things that deal with fucked-up topics! but i have my own boundaries (some of which i'm still unraveling), and i would appreciate if those are respected. was writing all of this even worthwhile?? i dunno, man!! are dnis even useful?? i also don't know. but, whatever! i want my opinions on this to be understood as best as i can express them since it's a pretty divisive topic in fandom and i'd rather not be misinterpreted! ok byetl;dr:
- no defenders of fictional cp (or real csam either, but that feels like a given)
- no "incest is hot" stuff (again, not debating morality, but it makes me uncomfortable)
- no "fiction doesn't impact reality" (your flattening of a more nuanced subject is annoying)
